David Philip Léasure
- Actor
- Camera and Electrical Department
David Léasure was born in Hopwood, Pennsylvania.
His father, Floyd A. Léasure Jr. was a pastor.
He took an interest in acting while in high school and joined the Navy to pay for it using the G.I. Bill, having no means to pay for acting school at the time.
When David got out of the Navy he drove down to New York to visit a school he believed to be the one. However, upon the meet and greet David realized the school was a sham and went back to the drawing board.
Weeks later he attended an open house at West Virginia University to kill time. While there David found out the school had an acting department but, the day being spent, the guide was not inclined to take the group.
Being given directions to the building, David found himself in an almost trilobite like structure, going round and round in a long hallway.
When he came to the end he found himself against two wooden doors. Past those doors was a big wall, posted on which were hundreds of business cards with thumb tacks.
David scanned the wall and found the school he had been looking for.
A few weeks later David attended an open house at the school and immediately fell in love.
David has yet to attend the school he joined the Navy to go to all those years ago.
He is also a writer.
