Vatsal Gaur is a writer and director based in Mumbai, India. His short film The Session (2025), a psychological thriller, has received recognition at film festivals in India and internationally. His filmmaking explores the lesser-seen sides of human behaviour and stories that exist among us but often go unnoticed.
Alongside his work as a writer and director, Vatsal has spent many years working as an editor, developing a strong understanding of visual storytelling. He also produces his films through his production banner, V Gaur Films.
He continues to develop new stories to tell the world while pursuing the passion that first drew him to filmmaking.
