Biography

Johan Erik Wickholm was born on June 10, 2002, in Gibraltar, to Talitha Revagliatte and Mika Wickholm. From an early age, he demonstrated a natural affinity for storytelling, developing a passion for performance that would shape his path into acting and filmmaking.

In April, 2023, Wickholm was cast in "In Tenebras: Into The Darkness" portraying "Josh Frazier". His performance was noted for its emotional authenticity and strong on-screen presence, establishing him as a promising emerging talent within independent cinema.

In February 2024, Wickholm began work on his original screenplay "Letters of Love", which he later expanded upon with the award-winning proof-of-concept "Letters of Love (short)" a project in which he served as writer, director, and lead actor. The film became a defining milestone in his early career, earning international recognition across the festival circuit. Wickholm received numerous Best Actor awards for his portrayal of "Peter DeSanta"

In addition to his work on "Letters of Love (short)"Wickholm continues to develop original material as both an actor and writer. He is working on the feature-length variant of the award-winning short as well as "Outed", a coming of age feature film comedy in pre-production, scheduled for 2026.

With a fast growing portfolio, Wickholm has begun to solidify himself as one of the most promising upcoming talents of his generation. His work, marked by emotional depth, creative ambition, and versatility continues to gain recognition on the international stage, with a charm that extends beyond the screen, the young prodigy continues to make waves in the industry.

Johan is half Finnish, with his father being born and raised in Finland.

Johan is the nephew of the late Finnish musician Jani Wickholm, best known as the runner-up on the 2004 season of the Finnish television competition Idols.
