Having graduated from Trinity College Dublin, majoring in set and lighting design for theatre, I transitioned into film early in my career; starting out as a Trainee Buyer on TV commercials in 1997. Since then my career has taken a fairly traditional route through all the various roles within the department, working today primarily as Set Decorator on a wide variety of film and TV productions spanning all budgets; whilst also seeking suitable projects for advancing my career in Production Design.
My work can now be enjoyed in period dramas including BROOKLYN, THE TUDORS, RIPPER STREET, and BECOMING JANE, cult favorites such as FRANK and Amazon Prime's PATRIOT as well as block busters for Warner Bros, Disney + and Universal Studios. I enjoy working abroad in both Europe and the USA and have headed many foreign crews working through both French and English, I have a particular love of textiles and a penchant for trawling auction rooms in search of the perfect finishing touch!
