Michael is the eldest son of Peter Romano a retired captain for Newark Fire Department and Cecilia Romano (neé Poulas).
Born December 13, 1975 in Newark New Jersey. Michael grew up in Linden New Jersey where he graduated from Linden High School in 1994. He later when on to further his education and is a graduate of Full Sail University with a Bachelors in Cinematography.
In his spare time he is a dedicated father, who often has his daughter Brianna Romano helping out on film shoots when possible. Avid camper and backpacker he finds solitude away from the city.
Most recently Michael had Brianna work as his Second Assistant Camera on his debut short film "The First Call".
Michael is a Freemason and a two time Past Master of Lafayette Lodge No. 27 of Free & Accepted Masons in Rahway New Jersey.
Often found smoking a cigar.
