Biography

Madhukar Toradmal was born on July 24, 1932 in Bombay, Bombay Presidency, British India. He was an actor and writer, known for Aapli Manse (1979), Raakh (1989) and Eka Peksha Ek (1990). He died on July 2, 2017 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

Translated many plays and novels from various languages into Marathi.

Worked as a clerk in Premier Automobiles and later shifted to Ahmednagar where he worked as English professor before entering films.

Father of actress Trupti Toradmal.

Formed an organization Rasikranjan dedicated to Marathi plays.

Was called Mama (uncle) on Marathi industry as matter of respect.
