Guilherme Coelho is a director, screenwriter, producer, and founder of Matizar Filmes. His first feature film, Fala Tu: Lives of Rhyme (2003), premiered at the Berlin Film Festival and won Best Film at the Rio Film Festival, by Popular Jury. He has also directed Orphans of Eldorado (2015), Oceanic (2026), and others. His work has been screened at Cinema du Réel, the Chicago Film Festival, and the Warsaw Film Festival. He is an alumni of Berlinale Talents and a Talent of Projeto Paradiso. As a producer, he has worked on films by Eduardo Coutinho, Marcelo Gomes, and Karim Aïnouz.
