Biography

Bob Caldwell is a multi award winning TV/FIlm editor based in Wicklow, Ireland. Working on documentaries, live sports events, music videos, comedy drama, short films and entertainment shows, Bob has 30 years of experience across many genres in the UK, US and Ireland. Notable awards are: IFTA Best Editor 2018, for 'Pearl Harbor -The heroes who fought back' ( History Channel ). 2 Emmy's, for the NBC day time show at The London and Beijing Olympics. Bob has also edited many award winning Documentaries, 'The Popes Children ' IFTA winner 2007 best documentary Series, 'Freefall' IFTA winner 2010 best documentary Series, 'The Fuck*ng Fulfords' BAFTA nominated 2005 best Feature documentary, 'Saviours', recently listed in The Irish Times as one Irelands top 50 films. Over the past 5 years Bob has also been producing and directing. Notably 'The famous 5' 1 hour documentary for Golf Channel and 'Fearless' Samantha Barry for RTE1. As well as Prolific Show openers for The Open and The Ryder Cup for NBC where he continues to edit for on the PGA tour and the Olympics.
