- Kelsi Beer is a multi-hyphenate actress, singer, and dancer based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Los Angeles, California, actively building a dynamic career in film & television, musical theatre, and dance choreography. She was born and raised in a one-stoplight town in Farmington, New Mexico, where she grew up with just her older sister, single mother, and a dream stuffed into a small apartment. In a town where there were more abandoned businesses than performance halls and other artistic outlets, Kelsi transformed her shared bedroom into a concert hall, jamming out to Lady Gaga and Selena Gomez on her decorated stereo, and forcing her sister to play make-believe with her and her stuffed animals every day. It was then that Kelsi knew she was different and fell in love with performance and storytelling. She began her career in musical theatre, appearing in regional theatre productions, including playing Ali, her first principal role in the musical production "Mamma Mia!" for the Four Corners Musical Theatre Company (2021).
Notable stage credits include playing Leading Player in "Pippin" (2023) & Diana Goodman in "Next to Normal" (2025), directed by Kate Clarke through the UNM Theatre & Dance Department.
Notable screen work includes playing the leading actress in the dramatic short film "A Family Matter" (dir. Rylee Norman, written by Erica Fish), which earned Kelsi her first SAG-AFTRA credit, and the comedic single-shot short film "Whodonut" (director and writer Becca Elbrecht), one of the most groundbreaking roles in her film career yet.
She graduated with a BAIA in Interdisciplinary Arts from the University of New Mexico, and also holds a certificate as an alumna of the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City (2024), where she was accepted into both the Film Acting and Musical Theatre specialized training programs. A versatile, emotionally grounded, and story-focused actress and performer, Kelsi is committed to her craft and continues to jump at more opportunities as her career blossoms.
