- In 1885 Bozenhard went to Hamburg and became a member of the Thalia Theater ensemble . In Hamburg Bozenhard got the nickname "Boz" or "uns' Boz". The versatile actor became very popular there, especially from 1900 to 1912 he was the most important male actor in the Thalia Theater. His main roles included Don Carlos , Mortimer, Reif-Reiflingen and Veilchenfresser.
