Elena Yfanti

Elena Yfanti was born in Athens/Greece.She got a Bachelor of Arts at the American College of Greece/Deree college (major in psychology) and later on continued her postgraduate studies in UK in the same field. At the same time she intensively attended classes in modern dance,jazz and Argentine tango. She loved acting since she was very young, doing a lot of improvised theatre and dance shows in her free time. As an adult, she attended her first theatre group in 2011 directed by D. Kanellos where she took part in a theatre monologue contest ran by Horos Texnis Asomaton. She took acting classes for 2 years at Theatre of Changes and since then she has been constantly engaged in various seminars in acting , movement and voice as: Viewpoints Training Residency (A. Delichatsios/ Cloud Gate Open Space workshop), Voice Acting (Open Theatre Art, A. Gikas), Acting on Camera (D. Lalos), Seminar in Improvization (E. Skoti), Physical Theatre (A. Dourmazer), Commedia Del Arte (G. Bentangor), Animateur training (Bobos club Academy) etc. Since September 2022 she attends a 2-year training program on Meisner acting technique at "Meisner Institute Athens". She has recently taken part as an actress in the Opening Ceremony of AEK stadium (by Artemis Ignatiou),as well as in various theatre plays.Some of them are: 'Frontisame na horame sto ligo' by Touliatos/I.Kapeloni (Kinotita Texnis Praxis), 'Across the Universe' by M. Skoufou (PK theatre), 'Ornithes of Aristophanes" by D. Kanellos (OLVIO theatre), " New Artists Festival -Ta 12 Koupe (Rouf Railway Carriage),'One way ticket (Michael Cacoyannis Foundation),'The Cherry Orchard" A.Chekhov by D. Kanellos (Xoros Texnis Asomaton) etc. The last five years she is more engaged in movie productions and TV series as a basic or background actress, such as : "Trip to Pireus" (documentary by Ph.Tsitos), Kokkino Potami (M. Manousakis),'Amfivolies' (A. Stefos, Alpha TV),'Erotas Figas' (V. Tselemegos, Open TV), 'On Fours' (S.Konstandindis ,ANT1+),'StOrgi' (Ch. Georgiou,Skai TV), 'Sasmos' (K. Kostopoulos, Alpha TV), 'Smyrna my Beloved' movie (G.Karadinakis, 2021), 'Greek authors and artists of 20thc (History Channel, Cosmote TV), MEDEA movie(D.Athanitis,2020), 'Agries Melisses (L.Haritos & S Michalopoulos)(Ant1 TV), 'The Dragon has come' movie (Ch.Passalis,2020),'Eftyhia' movie (A. Fratzis,2019), 'Risalto' movie (V.Vafeas 2016) etc.

She speaks English fluently and German at a very basic level
