Biography

Peter Morwood was born on October 20, 1956 in Lisburn, Northern Ireland. He was a writer, known for Spider-Man Unlimited (1999), Ring of the Nibelungs (2004) and Batman: The Animated Series (1992). He was married to Diane Duane. He died on May 9, 2025 in Ireland.

He graduated from Queen's University Belfast in 1979 and worked in the UK civil service while writing his first novels. He studied English Language and Literature, Law, and Medieval History.

He also served as an Officer-Cadet of the Queen's University Air Squadron (R.A.F.V.R.), but was forced to choose between academics and the RAF when (due to Government budgetary issues) the Squadron's members suddenly found their attendance requirements tripled.
