Biography

Lola Ridpath is a London-based filmmaker working across specialisms to explore character and story in film. Her production design work includes fiction short Bad Seed (dir. Barnaby Brown) winning the SAFF 2024 short film category and documentary Corpse Paint (dir. Anna Rooney). Influenced by the works of Chris Oddy and Teo Baramidze, Lola uses her curiosity for people and space to evoke mood in the props and sets she interacts with.

As of 2026, Lola is working as a standby props trainee, learning the art of being on set. Most recently she has worked on Our Fault: London and Seance on a Wet Afternoon.
