Ray Maiello

Ray Maiello is an award-winning film producer and former executive at Netflix and Paramount Pictures. Maiello has produced a select slate of critically acclaimed, filmmaker-driven projects through Radiant Media Studios, including the upcoming Netflix release Jean-Michel Basquiat, winner of the Tribeca Award for Editing; My Dead Friend Zoe, winner of the Audience Award at SXSW and Grand Jury Prize at Woodstock Film Festival; and romantic comedy Chasing Summer which premiered at Sundance where Justin Chang of The New Yorker praised it as "nimble, sexy, and infectiously funny."
Additional producing credits include Are We Good starring Marc Maron (Criterion), and The Trial of Alec Baldwin (Abramorama), directed by Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Rory Kennedy.
Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and based in Venice, California, Maiello began his career in New York’s Lower East Side music scene, founding Moontower Entertainment to develop recording artists including Wheatus, whose hit single "Teenage Dirtbag" surpassed one billion streams on Spotify.
After more than a decade shaping deals at Netflix and Paramount, Maiello founded Radiant in 2023 to champion bold, artist-driven storytelling.
