Thomas Goze is a French-born actor with a deep love for storytelling and a strong commitment to his craft. He began his training in France at L'École des Gens, Impro & Compagnie, and Cours Florent before relocating to New York City to expand his artistic journey. In NYC, he studied with respected teachers including Anthony Abeson and Karen Giordano, trained at The Barrow Group, and developed his on-camera technique at Kimball Studio. He also studied voiceover at Second City, further enhancing his versatility as a performer.
Thomas has also embraced performance beyond traditional acting. He completed all four levels of improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade and began studying clowning with Tallie Medel at the Brooklyn Comedy Collective, constantly seeking to push his creative limits and explore new forms of expression.
His passion for cinema runs deep, with a genuine appreciation for both drama and comedy, and a strong connection to independent filmmaking. In addition to acting, Thomas contributes to indie film projects behind the scenes by translating screenplays and subtitles into French for festival submissions. He also recently worked as a translator on Slaps and Beans 2, a video game inspired by iconic actors Terence Hill and Bud Spencer, helping bring the humor and spirit of the game to French-speaking audiences.
Beyond this work, Thomas has explored a range of creative outlets: he has written music-related articles, contributed photography to printed publications, and penned liner notes for music albums. He has also performed as a musician, releasing original songs and playing live shows in bands. He has worked with several known survivors from the original US and UK 70's street rock/punk scene, which led him to being quoted or featured in several books about rock and punk music.
In 2018, while still in France, actress Kelly Marie Tran's personal essay and her story inspired Thomas to return to acting after a long hiatus since childhood, sparking a life-changing decision to pursue his dream full-time. Five years later, in a serendipitous encounter on a New York City street, he crossed paths with her and was able to personally express his gratitude for the impact her words and story had on his life.
Curious, dedicated, and passionate about creative collaboration, Thomas embraces projects that challenge norms and celebrate authenticity.
