Can you be considered a veteran female musician when you are in the middle of life? Well! The answer is really yes. If you are Jill Johnson and have toured up and down along Sweden's state border since you were fourteen. As she has been passionate about music in various forms for over thirty years. And especially for country music for the last 15 years. Which was the main reason for doing Jills veranda (2014). Because she really felt that the genre did not deserve the bad press that it had in Sweden. So together with the Swedish producer Agnes-Lo Åkerlind, did they persuaded SVT (Sweden´s public service company), to make the program. Which also got the average Swedish citizen to see Jill in a new light - from her "previous" hidden political views. Witch made her quite sad and angry - which she talk about whit Niklas Strömstedt, on his music-show Tack För Musiken (2011). Where she also performed "Kärleken Är" - that was Sweden´s entry in the Euro vision Song Contest of 1998.
