- On 10 July 2017, Hungary issued a souvenir sheet celebrating the 200th year of his birth, with postage stamps illustrating four of his ballads: The Hero of Bor; The Bards of Wales; Mistress Agnes; and The Mother of King Matthias. A picture of Arany appears in the selvage to the left of the stamps.
