Tom Lonero

Tom Lonero is a Pittsburgh-based documentary filmmaker whose work follows culture, history, and the landscapes that connect them. He left film school in 2000 and returned to the craft years later, relearning everything through hands-on fieldwork. His projects include the Peru-shot series Vagabond in Red and the Appalachian documentary Nunnehi, both made through a single-operator, on-the-ground approach.
