Quinn was born on January 25, 1991, in Melbourne Australia. At the age of two, her family moved to a small town in Regional Australia where she spent most of her childhood climbing trees and studying music. Quinn made her acting debut in 2022, as a result of a serendipitous meeting during a radio interview in Sydney, Australia. Quinn's lead role as "Mel" in the Australian short film, Say My Name, was awarded over 70 international awards including Best Actress and a nomination for Best Original Score. Recent critic reviews of her work declared that "Quinn's performance is nothing short of extraordinary" and "The lead performance, delivered with raw emotion and vulnerability, is a tour de force."

Her ability to convey a wide range of emotions, from vulnerability to fierce determination, is nothing less than mesmerizing."
  • Robinson Film Awards, Italy

At the age of two, Quinn already showed musical promise giving her family and friends concerts on her little red keyboard in the small country town in Australia where she grew up. She commenced formal piano lessons at five and was already composing her own music. With dedication from her teachers and mentors, Quinn developed a high level of musicianship and went on to achieve practical recognition for classical piano, flute and voice with the Australian Music Examinations Board.

At the age of eight, she had recorded her first studio flute CD and at 11, was awarded the Most Outstanding Musician Award at the Northern Rivers Academy of Music along with the opportunity to perform with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. A few years later, Quinn's piano teacher, Marjorie Glanville, a renowned classical pianist, pipe organist and accompanist, discovered her innate ability for perfect (absolute) pitch, which is defined by the University of Chicago as a "person's ability to identify any musical note by name after hearing it, without reference to other notes (Witynski, n.d.)."

Quinn went onto develop her singing ability, studying with the internationally recognised Soprano and Director of ProMusica Arizona Chorale and Orchestra, Patti Graetz, and Mezzo-Soprano, Brownyn Powell, who classified Quinn as a Dramatic Coloratura Soprano with an extensive vocal range. Her vocal repertoire includes Mozart's "Queen of the Night Aria," "Mesicku na nebi hlubokem (Song to the Moon)" by Dvorák, and "Les oiseaux dans la charmille (The Doll Song)" by Offenbach.

Following in the footsteps of her Irish grandfather who conducted choirs around the world and her father, a former choirboy in England, Quinn has directed choirs, bands and ensembles as part of her work. Quinn's performances, solo and collaborative, typically feature her own compositions and original arrangements, and are warmly received by a wide range of audiences.

Quinn is now a member of the Australian Guild of Screen Composers and her work continues to garner various awards and critical acclaim. The deeply emotive score from, Say My Name (2023), one of her most recent commissions as film composer, has been receiving positive reviews from critics, international judging panels and from private audiences prior to its official release.

Quinn's lead role as "Mel" in the Australian short film, Say My Name, was awarded over 50 international awards including Best Actress and a nomination for Best Original Score.

More from the critics: "The lead performance, delivered with raw emotion and vulnerability, is a tour de force. The portrayal of Mel is fantastic, capturing the depths of her trauma, her resilience, and her relentless pursuit of a better life. It's a performance that will leave you breathless and in awe of Quinn's talent."
  • Best Damn Film Awards, Atlanta, USA

"Quinn takes on the lead role with an exemplary magnitude of energetic vitality that breaches the heart, mind and soul through her portrayal of Mel."
