Michal Cygan(I)

Michał Cygan is a BAFTA and BIFA-qualifying Director, Writer and Producer, as well as the founder and CEO of Blue Elephant Company. He is a graduate of the London Film Academy and the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School. In addition to his filmmaking endeavors, he competed in athletics throughout his teenage years. His latest film, Cornfield (2026), tells the story of a creative child with a passion for drawing who escapes the confines of a rigid school system through her imagination. There, an epic battle between mice and a hawk mirrors her own fight for self-expression, transforming both her world and that of her teacher.
