Michael Tótin

Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. The oldest of three boys. Graduated from Oak Park and River Forest High School with Honors. Participated in most sports and studied most subjects both in and out of school. Trained in dance, theater, voice, and a variety of instruments. Studied a variety of martial arts, including but not limited to Tai Kwon Do, Kenpo, Kickboxing, Savate, Kung Fu, Systema, and Choi Kwang Do. Michael was also an active trainee and member of the Civil Air Patrol.
Moving to Atlanta, Georgia after high school, Michael attended college at three universities shifting his studies from psychology and sociology to public and social services to electrical engineering. During his time in university, he did work as a certified electronics technician in the amusement industry, and did limited contract work for the United States Air Force and private firms like Solutions Inc.
In 2000, Michael moved to Seattle, Washington to change career paths. While primarily focused on relying on his background in technology and technical support he pursued personal training in writing, project management, movie effects, prop work and fabrication and completed a six month apprenticeship as an armorer. While developing a career in small business IT he did side work producing props and prop replicas. Primary focuses are work as a producer, writer, editor, consultant, and prop master.
