PeiPei developed a love for performance early, participating in school drama productions and musical theatre throughout middle and high school. She later built a strong movement foundation through competitive gymnastics and springboard diving at Columbia University. Her training expanded into martial arts-including Kung Fu and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu-as well as dance and physical comedy, allowing her to approach action roles as an actor first, delivering character, story, and emotional stakes while performing her own fight work when it serves the narrative.
Equally drawn to comedy, PeiPei excels in roles that balance strength with vulnerability, intelligence, and timing. She is particularly interested in elevated genre projects, action-forward stories with emotional depth, and character-driven comedies featuring capable, complex women.
In addition to acting, PeiPei is a filmmaker who writes, produces, and directs her own projects. Her action short Yoga Pant Brawl won Best Director at the Artemis Film Festival (Los Angeles), and her film Rumble Date screened at festivals in 2022. She also directed and fight-coordinated action sequences for the feature film Max Reload and the Netherblasters.
Prior to working in front of the camera, PeiPei built a career as a visual effects and Pre-Visualization storyboard artist on major studio films including Pirates of the Caribbean, Spider-Man 3, and Superman Returns. This technical background informs her storytelling instincts and enhances her work as a nuanced, cinematic performer.
PeiPei is also studying to be an Intimacy Coordinator.
