- Jovan B. Todorovic (b. 1979) is a Serbian American Film Director and multi-disciplinary artist with an MFA from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, Serbia. He is based in Brooklyn, New York.
His first feature film, 'The Belgrade Phantom,' which premiered at IDFA in Amsterdam, is a hybrid film based on a true story from the '70s in which a mysterious Phantom challenges the government police by occupying the attention and hearts of the city with his spectacular driving maneuvers using a stolen Porsche car. The poetic short film 'You're Dead, America' is a visceral meditation on death, decay, and rebirth that explores what has happened to the idea of the American Dream.
Often celebrated for their provocative nature and social impact, his films and branded content have garnered significant press and recognition worldwide, winning multiple FIPRESCI, Cannes Lions, Clio, Ciclope, Shots, Lux, and Golden Drum awards.
