Adolfo Franco(I)

Adolfo Franco is a recognized social entrepreneur and award-winning filmmaker. Since 2005, Adolfo has been the co-founder and general manager of CAUSAS.ORG, the largest social network for civic engagement in Mexico with more than 200,000 Non-profits and individuals participating in the program. During 2011, CAUSAS.ORG, in collaboration with the Mexican Federal Government, launched CINE EN TU PARQUE (Movies in Your Park), generating more than 8,000 screenings, reaching 1.4 million spectators, in more than 500 rescued public spaces. As a partner of KENIO FILMS, Adolfo has produced high profile feature films with wide theatrical distribution in Mexico and the U.S., such as CANTINFLAS (2014), FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK (2014), THE PERFECT GAME (2010), and A STEP FROM HEAVEN (2010) working with A - list talent from al over the world. Adolfo has been awarded and recognized with the National Solidarity Award 2009 by the Mexican President, the Mexico Initiative 2010 by Televisa, the 2012 Gifted Citizen Awards by Ciudad de las Ideas, and the 2012 Google Grant by the Tides Foundation. Adolfo is also part of the first generation of the WEF Global Shaper Community and serves in the advisory board of Enseña por México, part of the Teach for All Network.
