A proud Brazilian, Dayandra grew up studying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu until she found her true calling after performing for the first time. She is known for her emotional range, comedic talents, and dramatic depth. Raised in a small Midwestern town in Indiana, her love for acting blossomed as a way for her to use her voice. She became a passionate advocate for equality and representation in the arts.
She received her BFA in Acting, interned at Kenny Leon's True Colors Theatre Company in Atlanta, Georgia, completed the Film and Television Intensive with the Stella Adler Art of Acting Studio in Los Angeles, and continues her studies at UCB and Stan Kirsch Studios. Based out of Los Angeles, Dayandra continues to pursue her craft both and aims to continue to break barriers, spread positivity, and connect various communities through her work. When not performing, you can find her painting, making silly voices, reading fantasy novels, and engaging in a fierce discussion about superheroes.
