Luke Rex(I)

Dr. Luke Rex is a licensed psychologist in California and a filmmaker with a passion for storytelling and human connection. He earned his Doctorate in Psychology from Pepperdine University in 2022 and became one of Los Angeles' leading group facilitators for youth struggling with mental health and substance use disorders. His therapeutic approach integrates gestalt, psychodrama, experiential techniques, and performing arts-based methods.

Dr. Rex's background in acting includes a diploma from The Sydney Acting School and formal training at The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in New York. He spent seven years teaching at The Young Actors Studio in North Hollywood before transitioning into clinical work in outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and residential treatment settings, specializing in individual and group therapy for teens and adults.

His directorial debut, Bonding, a short film where he compellingly portrays a psychologist, showcases his ability to merge his expertise in psychology with cinematic storytelling. Dr. Rex continues to explore the intersection of psychology and film, using both mediums to deepen audiences' understanding of human behavior and consciousness.
