Sarah Burns is an Irish-American actress, writer, producer, and director.
Her most recent roles include playing Yvonne Fouchet in Bluebook Theatre’s production of The Dinner Party by Neil Simon; the Queen in All You Need Is Death by Paul Duane; and Amanda in the upcoming film Rule of Three, directed by James Roday Rodriguez.
Sarah made her film debut in 2023 as the Writer, Director, and Co-Producer, alongside Grá More Productions, for her film Sugar.
Trained in acting since the age of thirteen, her journey has taken her from Sligo to New York, Dublin, and Barcelona, giving her a diverse range of education in the Arts. Sarah's education includes her studies at the Professional Performing Arts School (PPAS) in New York as a Drama Major, the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York, The Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin, and Bow Street Academy in Dublin, where she was mentored by instructors such as Shimmy Marcus and Gerry Grennell.
Sarah is deeply passionate about using film as a platform to tell powerful, untold stories, with a strong commitment to amplifying marginalized voices, especially those of women and the queer community.
