Matt Shea grew up in Ohio and enjoys meditation and disco music. He started his career doing theatre and musical theatre in Chicago and New York City. In Chicago, Matt very much
enjoyed working at Bailiwick Repertory in such shows as Son of Fire, Pope Joan, and Fairy Tales for which he received a Jeff Nomination. He has been seen on Broadway in Ragtime and Off-Broadway in Abingdon Theatre Company’s productions of Zona, The
Ghost Of Greenbriar and The Appearance Of Impropriety. Regionally, Matt has performed in The School For Scandal (National Actors Theatre), She Loves Me (Great Lakes Theatre Festival), The Fantasticks, and The School For Lies (both at Ensemble
Theatre Company of Santa Barbara). In Los Angeles, he originated roles
in Ball Yards (Zephyr Theatre), Monkey Business (Self-Realization Fellowship,
Hollywood Temple), Greeks 6-Trogans 5 (Whitefire Theatre), and Theatre Movement Bazaar’s The Treatment (The Theatre @ Boston Court). His TV and FILM credits are varied and include mostly comedies: "Silicon Valley", "Bold Native", "Night Court", "Ray Donovan", "House Of Lies", "Lopez", "The Middle", "Gamer’s Guide", "Henry Danger", "Anger Management", "Desperation Boulevard", and "Trailer Park Boys: Out of the Park".
