- Tim was born and raised in Dinuba, California, and graduated from Dinuba High School in 2001 after completing an optional senior thesis class for which he co-wrote and co-directed a short student film. He went on to study filmmaking at Biola University, a faith-based university, in La Mirada, California, in Los Angeles County. After graduating a semester early in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Film/Television/Radio (emphasis: Film Production), he moved north near Fresno, California. He married a photographer, Rachel Pries, in 2006. In 2008, Tim founded "Monkeycraft Studios", a designer post-production facility, of which he is the Creative Director and Supervising Editor. Tim is a relative of William Asher, the director and producer of classic TV shows like Bewitched (1964) and I Love Lucy (1951). Bill is married to Meredith Coffin, the daughter of Tim's aunt in Palm Springs, California.
