- Yuliya Avsharova is a Russian theater and film actress, theater teacher. Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. In 1995, she graduated from the Shchukin Theatre Institute, Alla Kazanskaya's course. As a fourth-year student, Yuriy Lyubimov invited her to play the role of Medea in a production of the same name. After graduating, she joined the troupe of the Moscow Taganka Drama and Comedy Theater, where she worked for two years. She also performed in productions at the R. Simonov Moscow Drama Theater. In 1997, she joined the Class Theatre under the direction of Vladimir Poglazov. Since 2006, she has been an actress at the Moscow Drama Theater under the direction of Armen Dzhigarkhanyan. In 2011, she was accepted into the troupe of the Nikolay Gogol Moscow Drama Theater. She began acting in films in 2001. Acting instructor at the Gavrila Derzhavin International Slavic Institute.
