Flavio Cammerano

Flavio Cammerano is an Italian documentary filmmaker and aeronautical author whose work often explores aviation, social themes, and stories connected to local communities. He developed an early interest in aviation and aeromodellismo, activities that later became central both to his documentary work and to educational initiatives he promoted over the years.

Alongside his work in filmmaking, Cammerano has been involved in projects aimed at introducing young people to aviation culture and technical disciplines. Through aeromodellismo and related activities, he has organized educational and training programs that have also involved students with disabilities, receiving institutional recognition for these initiatives.

Cammerano later began producing short documentaries focused on aviation history, territorial storytelling, and social subjects. His projects include works dedicated to emergency aviation crews, local communities, and stories of resilience and inclusion. Among these is the documentary I dati supereroi, which highlights the work of aerial firefighting crews and has been presented in educational contexts to encourage discussion about civic responsibility and public service.

In addition to his filmmaking activity, Cammerano writes about aviation topics and collaborates as an author with the Italian aeronautical publication Hangar Italy.
