Hailey Kafer, known for her truthful and deeply honest character portrayals, graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a Bachelor's Degree in Theater Arts. Hailey has collaborated with a diverse range of directors and teachers who have shaped her into the dynamic artist she is today. Her passion for acting fuels every performance, allowing her to fully immerse herself in the lives of the characters she portrays. Hailey's greatest strength lies in her ability to open her heart to the stories she tells-bringing raw authenticity and emotional depth to the stage and screen.
Born in Kirkland, Washington, Hailey Kafer always had an instinct for performance-even if it took some time to find her voice. As a shy child, her parents enrolled her in dance lessons, hoping it would help her come out of her shell. Little did they know that single decision would shape Hailey's life. By age 11, Hailey had fallen in love with being on stage.
It wasn't until she moved to Southern California at 12 that she discovered her true calling: acting. From the moment she stepped into her first theater class, she knew this was it-acting was her future. Throughout high school, she immersed herself in theater, eventually serving as both treasurer and president of the drama club. Her dedication and passion led her to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Theater Arts at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where she continued to grow as an artist.
During college, Hailey studied a wide range of acting techniques and developed a deep love for character work and research. She was particularly drawn to the Meisner technique, which deepened her commitment to authenticity and emotional truth-principles that became the foundation of her performances. In her junior year, Hailey also discovered a second passion: intimacy choreography and coordination, which has since become an integral part of her artistic journey.
After taking a quarter-long course on intimacy direction in theater, Hailey was immediately fascinated by the work. Since then, she has trained with Chelsea Pace, founder of Open Intimacy Creatives, and has served as an intimacy professional on numerous stage productions and independent films. She is deeply committed to the future of ethical, compassionate, and consent-based practices in performance, striving to bring kindness and care into every collaboration.
Hailey Kafer continues to practice her craft in both on-camera and stage work, committed to telling honest stories and creating supported, emotionally resonant spaces for both artists and audiences.
