Biography

Beth McLean is an accomplished actor known for taking on character and genres that involve a deep sense of emotional range, with a personal favourite of drama/thriller. With a career spanning 4 years, Beth has brought to life a wide range of characters in both film and theatre.

Born and raised in Fife, Scotland. Beth discovered a passion for acting at an early age through youth theatre classes. She pursued this passion by studying ATCL Speech and Drams Diploma at Acting Out Drama School, where she honed her craft and developed a deep appreciation for the art of storytelling.

Beth McLean has appeared in numerous productions, including Night of the Red Moon (Feature), The Seagull (Play) and Lilies on the Land (Edinburgh Fringe 2023).

Her portrayal of Margie in Lilies on the Land earned critical acclaim and demonstrated her versatility and depth as an actor. In addition to her work on screen and stage, Beth has also experience, in writing and directing, She is passionate about such as promoting diversity in film and working with local theatre communities. When not performing, Beth enjoys learning new skills and taking on new challenges (her personal favourite is surfing and playing the piano), which she believes enrich her work as an actor.
