Born 1976 in Hamburg. Landsiedel studied Media Science and English Literature at Hamburg University. He worked on several positions on set before he became a TV writer and journalist. His work includes the Grimme Award and German Comedy Award nominated comedy series Dennis & Jesko (2009). He is host and producer of the German cinematography podcast Hinter der Kamera (2020).
Landsiedel is working as a film journalist and podcast producer in Hamburg and Cologne. He was editor- in-chief of the renowned German cinematography magazine 'Film & TV Kameramann' and he published a book about cinematography in the footsteps of Michael Ballhaus.
