- On her film Saints and Sinners (2004): "We made the film because we thought the issue personified a lack of tolerance. There's a lack on tolerance in a lot of different areas in lots of different films here at Human Rights Watch Film Festival, and for us it was just a blatant in our face, on our doorstep in America second class citizenship just purely because a lack of understanding and tolerance."
