Biography

Alex Rosales is an Award winning Hispanic filmmaker. He grew up in Miami, Florida, where he got an internship in the casting department for Harmony Korine's The Beach Bum (2019). He enrolled in NYU to study Film & Television where he wrote, directed, and edited his debut short Small Showers (2023), which won him the Short of the Year Award for Best Direction from Indie Short Mag.

Alex Rosales has previously worked as a composer for Small Showers (2023), releasing numerous other symphonic albums online. He has also worked as a podcast co-host for the program Free Art School University, an interview show talking with diverse, experienced artists.
