Ernesto Cisneros is a Cuban composer and pianist, born in Havana and based in Miami. Over more than three decades he has composed music for film, television, theater, and dance. He is best known for the score of Suite Habana (2003), for which he received, together with Edesio Alejandro, the Coral Award for Best Music at the International Festival of New Latin American Cinema (Havana Film Festival). His work for Cuban television includes the TV series Historias de Fuego and El rostro de los días, the latter directed by Nohemí Cartaya. In addition to his audiovisual work, he is a concert pianist, the author of several books, and a digital artist.
