  • Audley Anderson is an Australian screen actor, director and theatre maker. Audley currently stars as Sarah in MOTHMAMA, premiering at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival; and, in comedy-murder mystery 'He Had It Coming' streaming on the BBC and Stan. Audley is also known for their roles in Bump (Stan), Prosper (Stan), Wellmania (Netflix) and Paper Dolls (Paramount+). Audley also starred as 'Ruth' in Paper Angels (Entropico) and 'Lorraine' in Sharpie's biopic RAGE (Almanac Forever).

    After training under world-renowned coach Les Chantery at Australia' National Institute of Dramatic Art (Screen Actor's Studio), Audley quickly found success both in front of and behind the camera. Beyond their training at NIDA, Audley studied a Bachelor of Screen and Sound Production, Theatre and Performance, at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) (2020) in Sydney. And have continued training in the Perdekamp Emotional Method (PEM), and at Action Acting Academy in Stage Combat.

    Their production career began in Art Department and Assistant Directing roles across a wide range of formats, including drama, comedy, and reality television. Audley is the director of FOUND, a documentary series imagining, archiving, and celebrating queer chosen families. Audley has directed several music videos and assistant directed on multiple short films including the award winning Right Here (Claud Bailey) and Dykes on Bikes: Origin Story (Studio Antics). When not on a set, Audley is a performance artist and theatre maker, focusing on queer-led projects and ecological activism through their creative work and practice based research at UNSW.
