Brandon Blum

Brandon Blum was born and raised in Culver City, California. He began acting in the 5th grade when he had to tag along to his older brother's high school improv practices and was ultimately asked to join the group. He continued with improv and musical theater, before starting to take more collegiate level theater classes in high school while performing in the school plays as part of the Academy of Visual and Performing Arts at Culver City High School. Brandon continued his theater studies at Santa Monica College and received his B.A. in Theater Arts at the University of California, Santa Cruz.

He performed in a summer season with the reputable regional theater company Santa Cruz Shakespeare, among other well-known Bay Area theater companies such as City Lights Theater Company and Opera Parallèle before moving back to Los Angeles to continue performing with companies such as Sacred Fools Theater Company, The Attic Collective, Inkwell Theater, Moving Arts Theatre Company, Circle X, and more. He also began learning the drums and has played drums with a jazz workshop for several years. He revisited his improv roots in 2026 with classes and performances at the Upright Citizens Brigade.

Brandon's first union voiceover role came out in 2026, Officer Pak in Star Wars: Maul - Shadow Lord, which also marked his first shared project with his father (voice actor Steve Blum) and his step-mother (voice director, actress, and singer Mary Elizabeth McGlynn).
