Laura is a writer, director, and editor originating from Greece and Romania. She co-founded the London-based production company Kozo Films, whose latest production, A Witch’s Heart (2026), will enter the festival circuit in April 2026. 'A Witch's Heart' (2026) is a gothic fantasy re-imagining of the 16th century witch trials, in collaboration with CineCircle, The Kent Film Office, Farm Locations UK, ShootBlue.
Laura's work focuses on telling stories about the female experience from a female perspective, striving to challenge the dominance of the male gaze in contemporary cinema.
MA in Directing from the London Film School and a BASc in Neuroscience and film, Laura incorporates an interdisciplinary approach to her storytelling, dedicated to crafting authentic, emotionally rich stories. With knowledge in 5 languages and time spent living in several countries her work has multi-cultural influences.
