  • Moya writes for Film, TV, Animation, Audio Drama and Theatre. Recent work includes the screenplay for the animated feature film, The Glassworker, for Mano Animation Studios, Pakistan, which premiered in competition at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival 2024. The film was Pakistan’s Official Entry for Best International Feature for the 2025 Academy Awards and long listed for Best International Feature and Best Animated Feature.

    Her award winning short film, Some Sweet Oblivious Antidote, starring Sir Lenny Henry, Wunmi Mosaku, Sylvestra Le Touzel, Arinzé Kene and Colin Salmon, won Best Screenplay at the Canberra Short Film Festival, Best of the Fest Triforce Short Film Festival 2018 and was voted best film at Earl’s Court Short Film Festival 2018.

    TV includes Byker Grove, Doctors and the animated series, Peppa Pig, Floogals, Tree Fu Tom, Tilly & Friends, Driver Dan's Story Train, Yoko! Jakamoko! Toto!, Eddy & The Bear, Gordon the Garden Gnome, The Koala Brothers, Toot the Tiny Tugboat, Caiman and ten episodes of Little Princess.

    Moya has written many original plays for BBC Audio Drama namely Theo which was voted the most popular play in the BBC Archive and Beside Myself, a biography of writer, Daphne du Maurier, starring Helena Bonham Carter and Bill Nighy broadcast on BBC Radio in 2024.

    Audio adaptations comprise Jules Verne’s Journey to the Centre of the Earth, Nevil Shute’s A Town Like Alice (Sony Award Winner), Mary McCarthy’s The Group, Daphne du Maurier’s September Tide, Edna Ferber's Show Boat and Michael Field based on the diaries of the poet, Michael Field.

    Her comedy play Room Service Included was performed at New Farnham Rep and The Mill At Sonning.
