Matteo Palmitier is an actor, singer, songwriter, and multidisciplinary artist based in Nashville, Tennessee. His work spans film, music, theatre, and storytelling in various forms, with a career shaped by an uncommon path through the arts, humanitarian work, and performance.
Originally from Grand Rapids, MI, Palmitier discovered his performance foundation as a teenager through music. He studied classical voice and jazz at Western Michigan University before exploring commercial music at Belmont University. Following graduation, Matteo took a bold step outside the entertainment industry to pursue humanitarian aid work, dividing his time between the United States and international projects.
In 2021, Palmitier returned to Nashville and reconnected with the creative world, establishing himself as a vocalist and collaborator within the music industry, singing alongside greats like CeCe Winans, Mandisa, Russell Dickerson, Judah & the Lion, Israel Houghton, Laura Bell Bundy, & performing at iconic venues like Lincoln Center, Schermerhorn Symphony Center, and Bridgestone Arena.
In 2023, Palmitier expanded his creativity into acting, bringing his experience as a performer and his interest in human storytelling to the screen, acting alongside Jonah Hauer-King, Zoey Deutch, & Ruby Cruz in The Threesome, & more recently,the Matty Matheson produced, Dylan Arnold led indie film, Born to Lose.
Palmitier continues to develop work across film, music, & the stage, with a growing focus on character-driven storytelling and projects that explore the complexities of human connection.
