Hsiao-Hsia "Charlotte" Huang is a female writer-director based in LA, originally from Taiwan. She specializes in family and coming-of-age dramas, crafted with a realist visual style by ordinary individuals with the buzz of life. She is passionate about inspiring the audience to view life incidents from new perspectives.
She has received her M.F.A. degree in Film Directing from Chapman University. The projects she has written and directed have been selected for Academy Award and BAFTA qualifying film festivals. Besides dedicating her time to filmmaking, she can be found singing original Mandarin songs and playing the guitar at bars.
