Biography

Armstead Edwards is known for A Soldier's Story (1984), The Patti LaBelle Show (1985) and Out All Night (1992). He was previously married to Patti LaBelle.

Has five children: raised the two sons of their deceased neighbor, adopted the orphaned sons of Patti's sister, Jackie, and their biological son, Zuri.
