Jasper Caverly is an emerging film practitioner raised on Arakwal country. His debut short, Hedgehog (2022) was nominated for Best Australian Short and Best Director at the 33rd edition of the Melbourne Queer Film Festival. In 2024, they were the recipient of MQFF's Pitch, Pleez! major prize as the producer of the short documentary: 'While We Still Have Time'.
