- Since being named Vice President of Product in 2014, Todd's role revolves around changing the way people find great streaming content to watch over the internet on their TVs, computers and mobile devices. He is responsible for leveraging vast amounts of information and best-in-class user interfaces across numerous viewing devices to create an easy, compelling way for Netflix members to find something great to watch. Todd also oversees member acquisition and how to best leverage social and messaging. His team is also responsible for leading our studio technology efforts from pitch to play. Before joining Netflix in 2006, he wrote and directed the feature film Brother's Shadow, and the short film The Eternal Pitch. He also worked as a documentarian, filming political unrest in places like Tibet and Myanmar (Burma). Todd received a BA from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MFA in Film Production from USC.
