Biography

Anna Jadowska is a TV & feature film director. Her most recent film Woman on the Roof premiered at Tribeca Film Festival in International Narrative Competition and was awarded Best Performance for the leading actress Dorota Pomykala.

Anna co-directed the film Erotica 2022, Polish Netflix's first original film. Her film Wild Roses premiered in 2017 at the 17th T-Mobile New Horizons International Film Festival in Wroclaw and received the Stockholm Impact Award at the Stockholm International Film Festival 2017 and won in the Main Competition at the FilmFestival Cottbus. In 2018, Anna received the Krzysztof Krauze Award granted by Directors' Guild of Poland.

Anna is also a successful TV series director, for example she co-directed Open your Eyes for Polish Netflix. She also co-directed the TV series Ultraviolet for AXN network. She actively works for major Polish TV broadcasters and international streaming platforms.

Anna directed full-length feature film Touch Me (2003) which received Grand Prize at the Independent Film Competition in Gdynia and was presented during the International Film Forum at Berlinale. Shortly after, her short film Corridor (2004) was presented in Cannes in the Europe in Shorts X: Eastern Europe.
