Known for his performances in HBO series, "The Pitt" and Tubi Original, "TKO", Akeem Julian Cheatham, gained popularity in the sports world in 2022 after a reel of him and his dad training, went viral with over 1M views. He made his acting debut in 2023 as "Michael" on the Tubi original, "Forever Us". As the film rose in views, he landed a starring role in, The Stepdaughter 1 and 2, where he played the character, "Brian Hughes".

Getting support from notable people like Oscar De La Hoya, and Organizations like USA Boxing; Akeem was cast into "TKO" alongside Robert Ri'chard and Marques Houston. Where he plays a tough Compton amateur boxer, who is forced to be trained by his young, deadbeat father (Robert Ri'chard).

Boxing since the age of 7 years old, Akeem has won a reported total of 23 national championships, with over 150 amateur bouts. His professional boxing record is 1-0 with 1 knockout. Akeem was called to perform literature at the Joe Louis memorial in 2024, where Louis' family received a key to the city of Las Vegas.

Akeem was raised in Las Vegas, NV. He is one of 16 children from his fathers side, Gerald Cheatham, but was raised with five younger brothers, one of them being actor Jered Cheatham.

Akeem currently resides between Las Vegas, NV, and Los Angeles, CA; where his local fame is rising as a result of his combination of acting and boxing.
