Biography

Alex is a very entrepreneurial producer and filmmaker with a diverse background in sport, brand film, documentary and award winning short film production. A former lawyer and specialist Lloyds E&O underwriter, he is comfortable in both the commercial and creative space, able to utilise his unique skill set to maximum effect on any project. Alex began his career in California before returning to the UK where he worked on a number of projects for The UK Film Council before becoming the Senior Producer for Poker Night Live (SKY Channel 226). After taking a short break to start a family, a chance encounter with an Australian sports-tech company saw Alex being given the opportunity to work in the world of professional football (soccer), and as this is his second biggest love (beside filmmaking) he simply couldn't say no. Eventually his "filmmaking sabbatical" came to an end, and though it may have been longer than anticipated it was well worth it.
