Biography

Nali Maronsi, born in Kurdistan, he is a Kurdish Filmmaker, Director, and Editor. His educational background features a 2012 diploma in Law from Duhok Administrative Technical Institute and, in 2017, graduation from distinguished Film Directing courses at Kanoon cinema Garan Javan in Tehran, Iran. With a diverse portfolio spanning short films, feature films, and television, Nali's directorial journey began with "Ako" in 2017, followed by the upcoming "Nature Speaks" in 2023. His role as First Director Assistant for "Ipocrizia" feature Film Directed by Hiner Saleem 2023 . Active participation in the New York Kurdish Film Festival selection team in 2021 Since 2014, he has played a pivotal role as a Television Director in Duhok City, directing educational programs, orchestrating over 60 hours of live broadcasting, and curating 30 hours of TV shows.
